I just found this forum, so maybe you already have an answer. If not, then I will answer what I can. I take it A179 is the low carbon steel used in hear exchangers and Admiraly is brass tubing. If so, it would not be surprising that you are having problems with the A179, as it has no inherent corrosion protection, like many stainless steels or brasses do.

With further discussion, a suitable alloy can be chosen.
