dear all..
can any body aware of what is the effect of scandium on 2-series aluminium alloys particularly welding of 2219 aluminium alloy. how it will effect the welding properties of these alloys only with scandium and in addition of Zr i.e sc+zr.
i want weld this material using MIG welding with pulsing and without pulsing. can scandium refine the grain size of the weldment? how can i add the sc to the weld?
