To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Jim Piercey and Metro Tool & Die Co. has employed me for
twenty-seven years. During that time, we have been building tools and dies
for Bellevue Manufacturing Co., Fram (i.e. Bendix, Allied Signal and
Honeywell CPG), Wix Filters Division of Dana and Purolator Products, and
their many owners.

We have built dies for every metal part of an oil filter, including bodies,
valves, center tubes, end caps, spring retainers, threaded plates and gasket

We are experienced in:
Compound line dies
Cupper dies - single and multi-out
Redraw dies
Fluting tooling
High-speed progressive dies - single and multi-out
Redicon, Can Industry Products and Standum transfer tooling
All types of hydraulic blank & draw and redraw tooling related to
heavy-duty and off-road filters

Metro Tool & Die Co. is a one stop design and build company using 100% CAD
designed tooling combined with CNC turning and milling in-house. We have
three tryout presses of 90, 100 and 275-ton capacities in house.

Not only do we proudly employ a combination of twelve full time precision
machinists and tool and die makers dedicated to excellence, we are
financially sound with no outside debt load whatsoever.

Visit our website at www.metrotoolanddie.com for pictures of our plant,
equipment and tooling that we build.

Please e-mail, fax or mail us your press and die requirements along with
part prints and allow us to quote your tooling requirements.

Thank you and please call me with any questions or other information that
you may need.

James W. Piercey
