I work for a Canadian manufacturer of Industrial Coatings. We have been selling an two component Acrylic Copolymer Epoxy for baths with wonderful success. Health reasons are, obviously, the major advantage to using this coating. One major reason for the use of this product is the superior adhesion that we have found to fibreglass in comparison with out PU coatings. The durability and wear of this product has been every bit as good as it's isocyanite containing counterpart and appears to be more flexible. The surface still requires cleaning, regardless of whether acid etching is done or not to remove contaminants. We also recommend that the surface be abraded. I hope that this helps.
