Coating material with zinc. Hot dip, Electro plating and tumbling are some of the methods.
Hot dip is the prfered method as it deposits the greatest coating thickness woth the best adhesion.
Welding burns it off leaving a white residue. Zinc oxide which is harmful to the welder if he breathes the fumes.
The limit is the size of the galvanizing tank. Most tanks would accept that size of work. You will pay by the weight of the object.
