I took in my '97 Toyota Camry for an oil change and to check oil gelling. I was told that my car did not have an oil gelling problem "the problem would manifest as thick as jello". Well, the car still smokes after 2 oil changes and I am feeling blown off. The service manager says it is a "ring problem" and the enngine needs to be checked before teardown. I am at a standstill. What recourse have others gotten? I do have the 8 year extension coverage. My car was a former lease vehicle before I purchased it.
