I also have a Toyota Camry only 50,000 miles on a '97. I have changed the oiled regularly at 4- 5,000 miles at the dealership. After the last change, the blue smoke began for me too. Not long after, I got the "gel letter" from Toyota and took the car in. They claim it is NOT gelling! But they could (charge me) to do a diagnostic and then charge whatever the repair would cost. They "assume" it will likely be the oil seals, valve stems or sticking poston rings. What is up with this???? Is the company just avoiding paying for oil gelling and trying to deny it really exists????? I do not want ot pay for the company's originalting mistakes! Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do next? Thanks
